In the midst of all the great Jordan Brand releases this year, which do you think standout among others? Most are eagerly awaiting the holiday season for Jordan IV’s and XI’s, considered by many the best of the 2012 class. But don’t sleep, there is still plenty of heat in store for the second and third quarters as well. Take for the instance the “Gold Medal” pack – using inspiration from the looming 2012 Olympic Games, a pairing almost too good to pass up.

While the second half of the pack, the Air Jordan VII previewed last week, our favorite of the “Gold Medal” offering debuted today in the AJ VI. Featuring a white leather upper, the shoe has properly placed gold accents throughout the midsole, inner lining, laces, and Jordan branding. A red ”AIR”  holds down the back panel while the insole pays homage to the Olympic Games with USA-inspired graphics.
